Notice of Online Zoom Workshop (on Useful Applications, Part 2)

Following the Zoom Basic Workshop held on September 18th (Friday) and the Zoom Workshop on Useful Applications held on October 22th (Thursday), the staff members of Zoom will be conducting an online Workshop on Useful Applications (Part 2) so that users can utilize the program more effectively. This workshop will be touching on features such as screen sharing, how to use video recordings, and an overview of hosts, alternative hosts, and co-hosts.

Zoom Workshop (on Useful Applications, Part 2): Workshop Details and How to Participate

Date and time December 10th, 2020 (Thursday), 6:30 PM ~ 7:30 PM
Format Online (The workshop will be held via a Zoom meeting and will be conducted in Japanese only.)
Description

1.Screen sharing

  • How to share one's desktop and some important notes
  • What you can do by using Zoom's screen sharing feature
  • Applications of screen sharing

2.How to use video recordings

  • Important precautions before recording video
  • Local recording and cloud recording

3.An overview of hosts, alternative hosts, and co-hosts

4.Latest information on Zoom and future initiatives

*The scope of the workshop is subject to change depending on its progress.

Eligibility The workshop is open to all faculty members of our University with a Zoom account.
How to Apply

Please indicate your interest at the following URL by December 10th (Thursday), 2:00 PM (you will not be allowed to participate in the workshop without registering your interest).

How to attend the workshop

To attend the workshop, please click on the URL that you receive after indicating your interest to participate at the scheduled workshop date/time.

Remarks:

  • Please note that there will be no Q&A session due to time constraints.
  • A recording of the workshop will be made available by the Organization for Information Management and Communication at a later date.
