Zoom and Microsoft365 Notification of Class and Meeting Skills Training Seminar (Online)

We will inform you about the above matters as follows.

Zoom Basic Seminar

September 18, 2020 (Fri.) 15:00-16:00 (Application required.)

Starting this year, we are introducing Zoom as a tool for online classes and meetings, so we will be holding online seminars by Zoom corporate staff to enable you to use it more effectively. This seminar will focus on covering the basic use and features of Zoom, including how to set up classes and meetings, as well as the basic commands used by the host.

Format Online (It will be held via a Zoom webinar. The seminar will be in Japanese only.)
Eligibility Open to all faculty at the university who have a Zoom account

  • Time is limited, so there will not be time set aside for questions and answers. Thank you for your understanding.
  • A recording of the contents of the seminar is planned to be distributed by the Organization for Information Management and Communication at a later date.

Future Plans

*We plan to hold additional seminars in the future about using features such as breakout rooms proactively, and practical applications such as meetings with other universities, etc. We will contact you about the details as soon as they are finalized.

Microsoft365: Mastering Microsoft365 for Better Classes

September 29, 2020 (Tue.) Application required.

With the shared system replacement, enhanced features such as Teams are now available for Microsoft365 (formerly Office365). We have asked a Microsoft365 expert to hold a seminar to enable you to make the most of these features in classes.

Date September 29, 2020 (Tue.)
Times: 11:10, 15:10, 18:30 (All three sessions will have the same contents. The seminar time is scheduled for about 90 to 120 minutes.)
Format Online (It will be held via a Zoom webinar. The seminar will be in Japanese only.)

Open to all faculty members at the university who have a Kwansei Gakuin account
